Mia,

You didn't say which version of Windows you are using.

There are two places that can control your problem.
First check your screen saver.  Point to your desktop and click the RIGHT
mouse button.  Now select PROPERTIES and then click the SCREEN SAVER tab.
Now look for and change the ENERGY SAVER properties.

The second place to look is in the Control Panel.  Click START --
SETTINGS -- CONTROL PANEL and then find the POWER MANAGEMENT (POWER
SETTINGS????) icon and double click it.

In either case, change the settings from 5 minutes to something higher,
like 30 minutes.
