The hard drive doesn't seem to be active.

I've got enough space for a 1gig swap if Windows really wants to grab it (I
haven't optimized the swap space yet - no need to get into that here:)

There are approx 5 things running in the background.
Virus Scanner
MS Mouse (so I can use the 5 buttons on it :)
Some software for my camera (2 programs)
and [log in to unmask]

Now on an 850Mhz Machine with 256MB of Ram that shouldn't be an issue.
I am planning on moving to win2k but I'll be keeping w98 around for games
and such.
