This is very personal, people have all different opinions.

I'd suggest you stay away from adaptec, I've seen too many adaptec problems.
Nero is the perfect replacement, in additional, if you want perfect CD copy
capability, CloneCD is the software you should look for.

I have the Plextor Plexwriter 12/10/32A and it came with drivers that I am
hearing are not that compatible with
this even though Microsoft says it is. Many people are having a lot of
problems writing a disc with the Adaptec drivers and programs.
Which is now Roxio.
What would you all suggest that I use for this. I have just let it sit for
now until I find something that IS going to work well with this
set up I have now.
