Delano,
Many larger monitors offer D-sub, BNC and now USB connections. The BNC
often come with a separate connector for each color (RGB) as well as an
mixed connector. Cable systems used by TV use an F59A type threaded
connector intended for 75 ohm signalling.

I do not have personal experience using BNC connectors on monitors, but my
19" Nokia 446Xpro has them while my Matrox Millenium II does not. Would be
interested in hearing what honest advantage could be had by their use with
PCs.

BNC refers to the connector at the end of a Coaxial Cable. Is it possible
that you unintentionally called it BNC? Coaxial Cables are also used for
tranmission of TV signals. In order to utilize the COAXIAL inputs on the
back of your monitor, you would need a video card that has a "TV out" or
"Coaxial out" port in addition to the regular 15 pin connector. With such a
connection behind your monitor, you can even hook your VCR or antenna input
straight into it.

Best regards,
Delano Lalla
