Does that motherboard have onboard video ? Is it enabled ? Or, does it 
require a video card due to the lack of onboard video.

Two things I would do immediately are: 1) check with Asus and make sure a=
ll the hardware, memory, processor, etc are compatible with this motherbo=
ard. and 2) did you properly format your harddrive(s) before you started =
OS install?
