Daniel,

I would be more concerned about the legal implications of what you're
suggesting.  An ISP and the phone/cable company make their money by
providing each residence with an individual connection.  If either found out
you were sharing access with your neighbors, you and them might be embroiled
in an unwanted lawsuit.  Just something to think about.

Subject: [PCBUILD] Sharing boardband with neighbour using WLAN


Hi LAN builders:

Have anyone give some thought on boardband sharing with neighbour using
wireless LAN technology, I'm talking about the 11Mbps wireless network. Any
suggestion or link to follow. I live in a crescent. Some of my neighbours
are interested in the idea. I also have client with family members living a
couple house apart on the same street.
