I would suggest you get at least a 15G drive and set a partition for
98/DOS and another one for W2K. It is a win-win situation : you have a
stable, secure platform for work; one reboot - and you can run all those
games and multimedia applications in 98. All the other drives will be seen
by both, while they're FAT32, and the OSes can't mess other one's
partition.

Even if you'll have to reinstall all the software you use, it will
probably fit in 4G, so 4+4=8 and you have 7G left as shared space... Quite
a lot, I'd say :)
