For the money I would choose an Intel based system. I prefer Intel as
opposed to others for reliability and performance.

You didn't say if you will require anything else such as a monitor, keyboard
or mouse... These items would add a little to the overall cost as you know.

I use this basic system for my clients and have been doing so for several
years. The machine is stable, middle of the road and hasn't presented any
problems. Well, except for operator error that is.
