I have a Athlon 1800xp i am using AGP video, a KDS 17" Monitor.  Sometimes when I turn on the computer the monitor will not come on so I have to completely unplug the computer and monitor from power sources for about two hours and it will finally work again and one more thing I cannot turn off the monitor either.
