Yes, 75, say, is better than 60.  In fact, at 60Hz, your monitor would just
about give you a migraine.

With the basic monitors and simple gfx cards I've had in the past, adjusting
the refresh to 72Hz has usually been sufficient to produce a viewable
picture.

Now, modern monitors and state-of-the-art gfx cards can produce refresh
rates far in excess of that.  However, I don't know if there's any point in
upping the ref rate past the point where it's comfortably viewed.
