I am attempting to get this joystick, a cyclone digital, working on a
cyrix 166 system running windows 98, and the things fails to work.
Reports failure at loading direct 6. System fails to 'accept' the
joystick. The stick is fine since it works on other machines. The sound
card with the game port is decent. The video card is a sis 8 meg for
decent graphics. Any ideas? Is it the cyrix cpu? Could it be the sound
card? The joystick is on a parallel port. The mobo is that old
cumbersome M571 from PCChips. Ram is at 64meg. Tx.
