I  purchased both a Newcom modem and sound card in the past.   It seems to
me they are a "low end" company.
Atlas products sold by Best Buy are also made by Newcom; at least the ones
I have investigated have been.
I wholeheartedly agree with the poster regarding Newcom or Atlas rebates.
After meticulously filling out rebate forms, I am still waiting, and have
given up on Newcom honoring its rebates.  After doing some Internet
checking, I have formed the opinion this is a pattern with this company.
