        You may wish to consider buying a replacement for the second
parallel port controllet - I have seen IDE controller cards that integrate
another parallel port. That may be the optimal solution for you, since a
card like this wouldn't run you over $20.
        In fact, we bought a card just like this at our school, for $20
Canadian. We set it to the secondary IDE controller on the motherboard -
this way the primary was on the motherboard and the secondary was on the
card. Very smooth.
        Then it turned out that a simple BIOS checksum error fixes all
problems and we put away the card :) Go figure.
