Joseph;
Try unhooking the floppy cable and booting
this often brings up an error and a chance to enter cmos.
Unless halt on errors is disabled in bios.

Subject: [PCBUILD] Get into BIOS

> I have a 1993 Gateway 486 DX/66 running Win 3.11.  It works just fine, but
I want to update it. I cannot get into the BIOS using the usual suspects
like "delete", F1, etc. A call to Gateway's techies turned up nothing. Most
of them are too young to remember this machine, which was top of the line in
1993. Does anyone actually know how to get into the BIOS on this puppy?
