Kay,

First you will need to go to Start=>Programs=>Administrative Tools=>Windows
NT Diagnostics. Select the Resources tab and then select the DMA button to
see what is using your DMA channels. Hopefully you will then be able to
change the DMA channel on one of the peripherals that is using the available
DMA channels. After freeing an appropriate DMA channel for use by the SB
16 you should be able to install the drivers.

If you have the PnP SB16 card then you must right click on the pnpisa.inf
file in the drvlib\pnpisa\x86 file and select install, reboot when prompted.
Log on as Administrator and you will get the "New Hardware Found" message
and be prompted to install drivers for several functions on your card.
Select "Driver from disk provided by Hardware Manufacturer" and enter the
path for the SBPnP driver, then follow directions on screen to install
additional drivers for Joystick, etc.

Hope this helps,

Mary Wolden
