You can try this, go to start, then click on run, type in msconfig, click OK,
select startup and simply uncheck real player. You will have to do a restart
and player should be gone. you will get a window that tells you that you are
using selective start up and you will need to check the box that will not show
this window in the future. Real Player will still be there to use in programs.
