You will have no problem upgrading the Vista 32bit to Windows Home
Premium 7 64bit dual boot or clean install. I have done this. You
will not be asked for any disks.

What you can not do is upgrade an in place 32 bit OS to a 64 bit
OS. You must create a new partition for Windows 7 64 bit as you can
not install it in the same partition as Vista 32 bit unless you
completely remove Vista 32 bit. When running Vista or Windows 7
regardless of the partition address the OS will always be the C
drive. If you leave your Vista 32 bit in place Windows 7 will take
over the MBR and handle the dual boot flawlessly.

I would back up your data to an external drive, and then do an image
of your existing setup prior to your install of Win7 64 bit. If all
goes wrong you can restore your image and be back in your original
setup in a matter of minutes.
