Can anyone tell me exactly what situations this would cover? What exactly is meant by a program referencing a remote DNS or NetBIOS name or address? When, for example, would a program try to do this? This service is on manual and has not been started as of now and I have surfed, downloaded bank statements into Quicken, Spywareblaster has checked for autoupdates, etc. It sort of sounds like a service waiting for a trojan pgm to use it (I include Microsoft in that).

Thanks,
AnnaSummers
