Hi,

I came across this recently and found that by cleaning the wells where the
ink comes out using a q-tip and some spirits fixed it. I had tried loads
of other things but this worked.

Paul.

Subject: [PCBUILD] HP 690c suddenly won't print color

My old color cartridge was running out of ink, so I changed it. My printer
suddenly stopped printing color in either Win2000 or Win98SE. There seems
to be no problem with insertion, and I've done this hundreds of times
before. The cartridge is correctly marked for this printer. There is no
protecting tape on the cartridge. All of the settings seem to be correct,
and in any case, I haven't touched them.

Help!

Thank you.
