The mouse that came with my two-year-old Gateway PC is misbehaving. One
left click will often make the screen advance two pages instead of one.
This happens irregularly, perhaps every 5 to 10 clicks.

It has two buttons and a central scroll knob. It's labelled "MODEL: MOSXK".

Can anyone tell me the cause of the problem and suggest a cure?
