RDRAM is Rambus RAM, and is way faster than SDRAM, but also much more expensive. DDRAM is Double Density RAM, and is also very fast and more expensive. The faster RAM is the thing of the future with the P4's and all the new stuff coming. Unless you have some need for RDRAM like a lot of video editing and streaming video, you can save money by staying behind the crest of the technology wave. For most things that most people do a PIII 800-1000 is going to be as fast as they'll ever need. With those chips you can use PC-133 SDRAM. If you have the shekels, go ahead and stay on the bleeding edge of technology.
