Well i just installed a optical mouse on my machine & i will never use a
regular mouse again...optical is the way to go...but now to your
problem...what other USB devices do you have on your machine..sounds
like either you have a USB conflict or your USB port is bad...that just
reinforces the fact that no matter what operating system you use you
still ultimately have problems...i would guess either a USB conflict,
maybe even a virus....but maybe your USB port is bad...you should check
these things out to see if your problem is there...
