Bob,

When installing (from dos) win 98 I copy *.* (all files) from the win 98
directory on the win 98 cd to a separate parition.

Example For installing in dos mode.

Make a file named "cabs" on your partition:

" D:\>md Cabs "       Make a directory named "cabs" on your partition

Then copy all the files from the win98 directory from the cd to partition.

" E:\>cd win98 "   cd - change directory to win98

" E:\>win98\ copy *.* D:\Cabs "  copy files from cd to the cab file

" D:\cabs\setup.exe " Will start the Win 98 setup without cd - from
partition

Any time the Computer asks for the win 98 cd just type D:\cabs and you
should be set.

If you are just putting the files on a partition and you all ready have 98
installed, the only ones you need is in the win98 directory on the win 98
cd.
