I am running Windows 2000 Pro. I have Sony DVD  RW DRU-510A and a
CyberDrv CW078D CD-R/RW. drives installed.  The system almost never sees
the disk in either drive. It always requires a reboot to see the disk
and then usually only works for one session.

I just created a data disk, moving some Compaq utilities to the Cyber
drive so I could install them on a laptop. The write process completed
successfully and the drive ejected. I reinserted the disk and tried to
read it but got the message: "Please insert a disk in drive (I)"

I also have a USB Clik drive which I use to move files between my
desktop and my laptop. It is registered as  "Pocketzip" in Explorer.
Both the cd drives show as "Pocketzip" even in the real one is not
connected to the usb port and not showing in Explorer.

Any suggestions?
