I believe there was an access hole someplace on the front that allowed you
to reach in with some tool to turn the lock on the inside of the case. Last
time I did an Aptiva case, it was a bear to turn... thought I was going to
snap something, but when it broke free, the cover pulled right off from the
front. I was lucky, the lock didn't break... your mileage may vary.
