Yes.....I have seen in other FIC & ASUS manuals that you can jumper the
board the same as a P 100....1.5 frequency and 66Mhz Buss and I have been
told that jumpered this way the P233 with internally initialize a 3.5
Frequency. I was surprised that Tyan on their support web page does not
mention this as a way to jumper the Tomcat III to support 233 so I posted a
message about this on Tyan's news group. I received a reply from another
reader....not officially from Tyan.....that the boards voltage regulator
may not be able to handle the increased amp load. This surprises me as I
wouldn't think the 200 to 233 load to be significant.

I am hoping one of the EE list members can reassure me......does running a
Intel 233MMX in this fashion ...on this board....put the board at risk ?
