Another method that I have found handy is to connect the two computers
witha cross-over network cable and create a small network between the
computers. You put them in the same work group and assign them different
IP addreses. eg 192.168.100.1 and the other 192.168.100.2. The work
group could be any name. You simply share the data or files on the win
98 machine and access them on the win XP machine.
