This is my second replay:
There are two ways to use compression utility in Win95.
The first one when you use a small part of the drive, where Win95
installed, or separated HDD (or FDD). Here you can use Windows mode
utility.
The second one is when you use the whole HDD, where Win95 is
installed. Here you can only start the compression utility in windows
mode. The real work will be done in the DOS mode.
However, both cases requeres additional disk space to run in
safe uncompession utility (about 50% of HDD/FDD space should be free).
If this condition didn't considered, then drvspace/dblspace could be
failed during uncompression. In principle, the roll back trunsaction
should work in windows, however in the DOS mode
compression/uncompression should be done to the END.
Your case is damaged compression file on H disk, and therefore
Explorer made an error during Windows loading.
The solution of the problem is loading from system floppy and format
 H disk.
