Anyone know whether an Acculogic sIDE3 IDE/Floppy controller card(ISA)will
work ok in a p100 PCI/ISA bus system? I was trying to use it since the MB
onboard floppy controller is bad. The sIDE3 has its own bios but the
system will not complete a boot up with it enabled(regardless of how the MB
bios is set up--in this bios I can disable the drives themselves or the
controllers), it will show the sIDE info on screen, find the HD, but then
just a flashing cursor. If I disable the sIDE bios I can get the HD and
floppy(using sIDE3 for both) to work except everything runs
slow--compatabiltiy mode drivers. If I just use the floppy controller on
sIDE3, it works but not as a boot up drive. Help . . .
