Thank you, already tried tweakui as well...
However, I did come accross another person in a newsgroup with this error
who apparently solved the problem..
He states that he checked the registry and in HKeyClasses_Root, he found an
extension that was some 50+ characters long...he deleted it and it fixed his
error.
The reason he said this was causing his problem, was that the long file
extension was overrunning the buffer in shdoc401.dll...causing an instant
page fault during memory access...
I wonder if this is so.
I had my cousin check his registry and indeed he found a very long extension
shown below...
I would appreciate any input on this before I advise him to delete this
key...
