The three best brands for power supplies, in order, are

1) PC Power & Cooling .... mission critical quality, very expensive, the
last Power Supply you will need to buy
2) Antec .... high quality at a fair price
3) Enermax .... very good quality at a very reasonable price

Price the Antec and Enermax at www.newegg.com and the PCP&C on their web site.

Cases, are another matter. All brand name cases are pretty good. Antec,
Enermax, Enlight, Inwin, PCP&C, all make cases. This year I upgraded two of
my cases to Enermax entry level oversized Server Cases, and I am very
pleased with them. But there are lots of generic ones, fancy ones with
things like side windows, lighted interiors, .......there are also, micro
cases for small motherboards, popular as media PCs, server cases, Tower,
desktop, you name it. Lot's of choices here. It all depends on what you are
looking for in a case, and what you plan to put it in.
