Hello,
Could somebody help me please.  I have an Aptiva 2144 (Cyrix 5x86, 100Mz).
It didn't come with a modem, so I had one installed for Internet.  The
problem is that when I try to connect, it always gives me an error message.
It works fine only after turning the computer on and off for about 3 or 4
times.

What could possibly be wrong with my modem (or computer).  I use Windows 95,
24 RAM, 2.5 Hard Drive. The modem is a NewCom 33.6 bps internal modem.
