I have a Dell 166 Pentium with a 2.5g GB hard drive in two partitions. I
have converted to FAT32. A defrag of my hard drive can take almost two
hours- fully 30 minutes at the 10% mark.  Are you sure it won't finish? I
know it does seem like it takes forever. I let mine defrag at night while
I'm sleeping.
