What you are asking to do is illegal. You cannot install your Windows
98 on another computer with using your registry key or without using any
key at all. You will have to get another key by either buying another
license for Windows 98 or another complete CD.

Subject: [PCBUILD] Pre-install win98 following

I will give it to my relative as a gift who live in another city. He
will use it mainly for Internet usage. I don't want to give away my
windows98 key, so I need to install windows without the need of registry
number. I remembered when I first time I turned on my computer, I had to
enter the number from my windows book, I asked this to the place I
bought my computer, they won't tell me how to do it. Can anyone here
help me please?
