Hi,Thankyou for your reply.
Yes we can READ files off the floppy.Is the cable you mention in the CPU,or
could it be external from the CPU.
We have had the computer for six months,the floppy did work,we have not used
it very much.
We have used our 'scandisk' and 'diskclean' to no avail. As you can see you
are dealing with real novices.
