Another message to the list gave a URL for updating USR modems.  This same
page led me to the information I needed.  It agrees with the specs you gave
me except for it being 9VAC 1000mA, as Rick Glazier already pointed out.
The page also says they sell them for $15 (probably plus shipping) which
seems pretty reasonable to me.

BTW, in my original message, I gave the Serial Number 000839032BO64BP1.
The first eight digits are the "product code" that is needed to get any
information or updates for these modems.
