I have a 64MB PC133 SDRAM that worked fine on my main computer for a few
months. Recently, I noticed that the RAM is not recognized. Intead of
showing 192MB (one 128MB + this 64MB) total for the system, I see only
128MB of memory both in startup screen and in Windows System properties.

Before I decide the memory might be problem, I move it to another system
which has a PC100 128MB SDRAM. The system booted fine showing the right
amount with added memory included.

In my BIOS, I have its speed set to auto (auto, 100, 133), and CAS (2, 3)
set to auto. Are there any other settings that would affect whether memory
would be recognized? Besides BIOS, what else would cause the problem? I
have unplugged and plugged it back. I have moved it to a different slot.
What else do I need to do to make it work?

Thanks,

Changhsu Liu
