Hi Ray

There is a drop down menu at the top of the Winipcfg window.
If the menu says Dial Up Adaptor, the IP will show all zeros.
(Your dial up IP address changes every time you dial in to
your ISP. So if you aren't connected using dial up, winipcfg
says your dial up IP address can't show anything but zeros.)

Choose your Network Interface Card from the menu and you
should see your cable IP address.
