As it happens, I use this same drive in my personal computer.  Yes, the
drive generates a great deal of heat, that is the nature of these
10,000rpm drives.   To insure that I do not have a heat issue in mine,
I have mounted the drive in a 5 1/2" bay at the top of the case.  I then
drilled 12 - 1/4" holes in the cover plate on that bay to provide additional
air flow and included an additional case fan to move a great deal of air
through the computer.

That is the issue with using the fastest hard drive on the market...  heat.
The only cure is lots of air movement to keep the system cool.
