At a local Computer "SuperStore," I bought a pci card that has two fans on
it -- one blows upward and one downward to cool my two, UW-SCSI drives.
This was a Novell 3.12 server that was having heat issues. I also picked up
a neat, little thermometer face-plate for 10 bucks that fits in one of the
empty 5 1/4 face-plates on the case. The thermometer had a large, LCD
display that could tell me at a glance if the fans were doing their job.

I'm sure an Internet search would find you a vendor, that fan only cost
around 20 dollars.
