Dear Listers:

I know this has come up before but thought I wouldn't be in the same position,
and now I find I'm in that position.

I can't get dos to recognize above 504megs! It's a 2.1 gig HD. I go into
fdisk and it tops out at 504megs. I had to reformat the drive (which at the
time did recognize 2.1 gig) and when I got to fdisk it would only go to 504
megs. I'm using a dos 6.2 boot disk.

system:
Shuttle Hot-555A Version 3.2
Award Modular BIOS v4.51PG
11-11-97-i430vx, 8680-2A59GH2KC-00
Samsung WA32162A (2.1gig)
32Mg SDRAM

When I boot up, the boot screen shows the HD as 2.1 gig.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Kevin Nowicki
