This is incorrect. The only protocol you should be using on a home LAN
using any version of Windows is TCP/IP.
NetBEUI = Extended User Interface is an old Windows for Workgroup protocol
that is not routable.
While it will work, without any configuration, you loose a great deal in
security and functionality.
