Hi everyone

This is my first posting, tho I have been reading the lists for a couple
of weeks now, and Learned heaps too!
My question is regarding my mainboard and what chips it is capable of
carrying.
It is an: ASUS SP97-v , pentium 166 mmx and 64meg of ram (v = onboard
video)
the ASUS board has a socket 7 socket for the chip.
What I'd like to do is put the fastest chip possible/practicable in this
machine, The manual that came with the mainboard says it can take a
pentium 233, I am wondering if it can support any later chips, and if so
what??.

Many thanx in advance, Leigh Jennings
