  I haven't encountered a noticable speed difference.  [The cards
I've been using combine 10/100Mbps NIC and 56Kbps modem on one card.]

  Xircom:  I like them, except that I'm accumulating a small pile of
cards on which the modem function has died -- enough that I suspect a
design inadequacy.

  3com:  I have not been able to find Win2K drivers for these yet.

  Intel:  We've only just ordered these, and haven't had a chance to
get to know them yet.
