      My cheap "y" power cables connectors metal innards get "stretched".
The connection in the power cord gets "loose" and I have had the same
problem. The metal in a power supply pigtail "should" be stronger,
but who knows.  I bend them very slightly to tighten the metal.

           Hope this works for you.  PS: I am on third power supply,
so.........
