Personally, I'd junk the Cyrix chip and buy an Intel PII
333MMX, assuming the system can handle it.  It's more
expensive, but they'll notice much better speed than with
Cyrix chips.  If you couple this with the video card
upgrade, Quake shouldn't suck any more.
