        I'm sure that this thread will cause alot of disagreement but here is my
stab at this... 50 degress C is nothing, you can definately raise it above
that. For example, my MB (an ASUS A7M) defaults it's monitor's upper limit
to 80 degrees C. Note though that I have an Athlon 1200. My CPU runs at
around 55 degrees C with the AC on, with the AC off it runs around 62 degres
C. Is this a little high? Yup, you bet, but these things are guaranteed to
operate at up to 75 degrees C so I feel I am OK. Note that this is with the
RETAIL CPU, which means it came with AMD's fan and heatsink. TTYL
