I have looked at the ram and it appears to be well seated. I thought if it
wasn't it would beep. There is 8 simm chips.

I have done that.

The motherboard appears to be ok too. I saw the Hdd light come on the HDD. I
have not worked out which wires go with what yet that was going to be my
last job. The screen is not printing anything up. But I have changed video
cards, motherboards and still nothing comes on the screen. Is it possible it
is one of the buses or could it be the I/O card. I am unsure what to think.
I have number one pin conected with the red strip on data cables too. It is
mainly that nothing appears to come on the screen even when I put a card i n
that is compatable with my screen nothing changes. For example you know when
your PC boots up the screen is black and you see the what type the MB is
then the ram etc and if the video card isn't working it just stays orange or
whatever the colour is well that is the problem. But the video card was
working on the 386 but not this. Strange, could it be the CPU?
Thanks Janelle Nielsen
