Hi-

I recently attempted to format a partion on one of my HDD's from within a
DOS window in Win95, and got a message as follows:

"Wrong media or bad track 0. Disk unusable. Format terminated"

The partition was visible in Windows Explorer, and I could read and write
files to the partition with no problems.

I booted the machine to a floppy and was able to format the partition
successfully from DOS. Re-entering Windows, I tried once again to format
the partition and got the same message.

Anybody know what's going on here?

THanks-
