I started to lay out my parts today and when reading the manual for the ASUS
P4P800 Deluxe board find a notation on page 2-18. Saying:
"If installing the ATi 9500 or 9700 Pro Series , use only the card version
PN xxx-xxxxx-30 or later, for optimum performance and overclocking
stability". Unfortunately the card I bought in June says PN
109-A05600-00. Was I sold an old version of the card? And does anyone
know what the problem will be if I try to use it. Notice the center part
of the number is 6 spaces rather than the 5 mentioned in the manual.

I bought the card from Allstarshop in mid-June. They seem to have a good
rep on Tom's Pricing guide.
